|
Under the sea |
Supplies: white paper, red, yellow, blue and black markers and a ruler. Show students slide show of Mondrian's work. Students will be using a ruler, they will draw horizontal and vertical parallel lines within the animal body.
Skills: Idea from: http://afaithfulattempt.blogspot.com/2014/07/mondrian-inspired-animals.html |
Supplies: Large sheet of white paper, black crayon, pencil, reference book of sea creatures
Use large sheets of white paper from the big paper roll that we use to cover bulletin boards. Pull a long sheet and fold it in half for each student. Each folded piece of paper should be about 24" wide. Students will draw their sea creature really big. Students will trace over the lines with a black crayon. They then take drawing, and hold it up to a window and trace the design onto the other side to get a two-sided creature. http://afaithfulattempt.blogspot.com/2014/09/big-puffy-fish.html |
